How it Works

Our Website Worth Calculator gives you a full site report in under ten seconds. Here is exactly how it works.

Step 1 – Enter the Domain

Type any website URL into the search box on our homepage. You can enter the domain with or without “www” or “https”, our tool handles both formats automatically.

Example: wikipedia.org, neilpatel.com, or https://www.example.com

Step 2 – We Fetch the Data

The moment you click Calculate, our tool reaches out to multiple public data sources simultaneously. We assess the domain’s authority and strength, check its registration history, and scan for monetization signals, all in the background while you wait.

Step 3 – We Run the Calculations

Once we have the raw data, we run four calculations:

Traffic Estimate
We use the domain’s authority signals and a proprietary traffic estimation model to estimate daily and monthly visitors. This model is calibrated against known traffic benchmarks across millions of domains.

Ad Revenue Estimate
We calculate potential ad income using the detected ad networks and their typical industry-standard ad rate benchmarks. If no ad network is detected, we apply a conservative default rate.

Domain Age
Older domains generally carry more trust and search ranking power. We factor domain age into the overall assessment.

Worth Range
We multiply estimated monthly ad revenue by an industry-standard valuation range, giving you a low and high estimate that reflects the typical prices websites sell for on major marketplaces.

Step 4 – You Get the Full Report

Your result card shows:

  • Estimated daily and monthly traffic
  • Estimated daily, monthly, and yearly ad revenue
  • Detected ad networks
  • Domain age and registration date
  • Domain authority score
  • Website worth – low and high estimate

How Accurate Are the Results?

Our estimates are based entirely on public data. We do not have access to private analytics or revenue figures.

In our testing, traffic estimates are typically within 40–70% of actual values for established sites with significant traffic. Results are less precise for very new sites, very small sites, or sites with unusual monetization.

We are upfront about this because we believe a useful estimate with honest caveats is worth more than a precise-looking number with no explanation.
